Thackray Information Systems - Documentation and inventory-control procedures are triggered the moment a delivery rolls through the gate. Physical inspection of all goods precedes entry into our state of the art inventory system.
Transportation - Thackray maintains a large fleet of heavy-duty tractors and low-boy trailers. Our vehicles are operated by drivers experienced with heavy, bulky and oversized loads. Tight urban environments and challenging construction sites are familiar territory. If the equipment can be loaded, Thackray can deliver it.
Routing & Permitting for oversized loads requires a thorough knowledge of clearance and weight restrictions and governmental regulations. It also requires seasoned judgment gained from years of experience with the Delaware Valley transportation network.
Dispatch & Escort - As job delivery time approaches, our Routing and Permits section plots a course, schedules the time and arranges for proper escort. Once a load is underway, our Dispatcher makes sure that deliveries are synchronized and that any unforeseen problems are immediately addressed.
